On August 23, 2024, the prestigious Yangtze River Delta Cross-Border E-Commerce and Industrial Belt Development Conference was held in Nanjing. The event, themed "Empowerment and Sailing Abroad," was organized by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, the Jiangsu Province E-Commerce Association, and several other leading institutions. It brought together over a hundred representatives from top companies such as Amazon, Google, Alibaba, and others, aiming to explore new models and strategies for the transformation of traditional trade enterprises in the context of cross-border e-commerce.
Uzbekbayev Arman, the General Director of RIAST, was among the key participants in this significant event. He took part in the launch of the "Belt and Road" service platform, a major initiative designed to integrate the industrial belts, business associations, cross-border platforms, eco-service enterprises, and industrial parks from three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta. This platform seeks to build a robust ecosystem for the "Belt and Road" brand abroad, enhancing global cooperation and fostering the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce.
The conference also featured in-depth discussions on various topics, including cross-border investment environments, industry transformations, and the creation of new benchmarks for the cross-border e-commerce sector. Notable speeches were delivered by leaders from Amazon, Google, and other industry giants, who shared their insights on navigating the challenges and opportunities in the current global market.
The event concluded with a collaborative agreement between various enterprises, including the Central Asia Cross-Border E-Commerce Live Streaming Base, which aims to create a comprehensive and efficient cross-border e-commerce ecosystem across Central Asia, covering countries like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and others.
